Slashing Into the New Year: Terror Train

Yeah, you can sit back and watch New Year's Evil but what other movie will bring you revenge on a party train?

Released in 1980, Terror Train follows a college fraternity having a New Year's Eve costume party on a train, three years after playing a cruel prank on poor Kenny Hampson. But without them knowing, someone has boarded the party train and is slashing through his victims one by one. Could it be Kenny himself, out for revenge?

Following up on her roles in Halloween and Prom Night, Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Alana Maxwell, the lead character of the film and ultimately the only one that people really remember from the film.

So sit back, grab a couple of drinks and your friends, and enjoy the train ride til the clock strikes midnight. I know I will.

Ebay Gems: Freddy Krueger Yo Yo 1989

Is that Freddy actually playing with the yo-yo? Yes, yes it is.
Spectra released a whole assortment of different yo-yo's based off of certain franchises, but Freddy was the only horror franchise that I'd seen. I've become more obsessed with catching little gems like these more recently so this made perfect sense to me. It's a little weird to me that Freddy was made into a yo-yo but if you think about it, Freddy was the only personable horror villain, especially in the 80's. I guess in a way, he became sort of a joke as the films continued. So maybe having your face on a yo-yo is a bad thing? Nevertheless, it is a gem and I am now the proud owner, paying an amount of 10 bucks?! You never know what you'll find on ebay.
